1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Velnor ("Velnor", "we", "us") handles information across the applications we build (each, an "App"), currently including Dwell IQ, Elisa Blake, UnitKit, Lunara, Rankora, Budget App, Campvera and Havenlyst. This policy applies to all Velnor Apps; where an individual App has specific practices worth calling out (for example, a permission it requests or a third-party service it uses), those are documented in the app-specific section under "9. App-specific details" below, which forms part of this policy.

2. Our general approach

Velnor apps are designed to collect as little information as possible. As a rule, our Apps do not require you to create an account, and information you enter or create — such as journal entries, home details, or budget categories — is stored locally on your device rather than on servers we operate, unless an App's specific section below says otherwise.

3. Information you provide

Some Apps let you enter information to make the App more useful to you — for example, a home profile, a personal journal entry, or a budget category name. What each App collects is listed in its app-specific section below. We do not require your real name, and we do not ask for information we don't need to provide the App's functionality.

4. Photos and device permissions

Where an App requests access to your camera, photo library, or other device capability, that access is used only for the feature it was requested for (for example, capturing a photo you choose to add), as described in that App's section below and in the permission prompt itself. You can review or revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings app.

5. Artificial intelligence features

Some Apps offer features powered by third-party artificial intelligence services. When you use one of these features, the specific content you submit (such as a photo or a question) is sent to that service's API to generate a response. We only send what you actively choose to submit — Velnor does not use AI services to continuously monitor your content. The specific AI provider used by each App, if any, is listed in that App's section below.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Where an App offers optional subscriptions or purchases, these are processed through Apple's App Store and, for some Apps, through RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. Payment details are handled by Apple; RevenueCat receives subscription status and purchase-validation data necessary to unlock features in the App. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more information.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because most information you create in a Velnor App is stored locally on your device, you control it directly: you can edit or delete it within the App, or remove all of it by deleting the App from your device. Where an App sends content to a third-party service (see "5. Artificial intelligence features"), that service's own retention practices apply to the content it processes — see the linked provider policy in that App's section below.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of information associated with you. Because Velnor Apps generally do not collect information that identifies you and generally do not operate user accounts, there is often little or nothing held on our servers to act on beyond what is described above. 9. App-specific details

The following sections describe the confirmed data practices of each Velnor App. Apps not yet listed here have not launched and will have their practices documented here before release.

Rankora

Account: No account or sign-in is required to use this App.
Storage: Your generated articles, outlines, FAQs, tables and weekly usage history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Velnor does not operate servers that store this content. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: Article inputs you enter (keyword or topic, target audience, content type, tone and target word count)
Articles you generate and keep in the app (titles, sections, FAQs, tables and meta tags)
Subscription status and weekly article-usage counters used to apply your plan's limits
AI processing: When you generate an article, the keyword or topic, target audience, content type, tone and length preferences you enter are sent to OpenAI's API to produce the draft. Only content you actively submit for generation is sent — Rankora does not continuously monitor or upload your saved articles.
Your choices & rights: Your saved articles are stored on your device and are not transmitted to Velnor.
You can delete all data at any time by removing the app from your device.
Third-party services: OpenAI API: Generates article drafts. When you create an article, the keyword or topic, target audience, content type, tone and target word count you submit are sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. to produce the draft. Budget App

Account: No account or sign-in is required to use this App.
Storage: Your subscriptions, expenses, budgets, categories, payment methods and settings are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Velnor does not operate servers that store this content. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: Subscription and expense details you enter (names, amounts, billing cycles, due dates, categories and payment methods)
Budget settings and spending totals you choose to track
Reminder preferences for expenses and subscriptions
Device permissions: Notifications — optional, used only for expense and subscription reminders you enable.
AI processing: Spending insights and reminder suggestions are generated entirely on your device. No expense, subscription or budget content is sent to an AI service.
Your choices & rights: Your data is not transmitted to Velnor and is not used for advertising.
You can delete all data at any time by removing the app from your device.

Dwell IQ

Account: No account or sign-in is required to use this App.
Storage: Your home profile, room photos and assessment history are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Dwell IQ does not sync this data to iCloud or to any server operated by Velnor. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: ZIP code (optional, if you choose to enter it as part of your home profile)
Home characteristics you enter, such as home type, size, age, and household composition
Photos of your home that you capture or select within the app
Device permissions: Camera — to photograph rooms for scanning and AI-powered analysis.
Photo Library — to select existing photos of your rooms for analysis.
AI processing: When you use an AI-powered feature (such as room scanning or analysis), the photo or text you submit is sent to OpenAI's API for processing and is not otherwise shared by Velnor. Only content you actively choose to submit is sent — Dwell IQ does not continuously monitor or upload your photos.

Elisa Blake

Account: An account is required to use this App.
Storage: Your account, profile, conversation history and memory data are stored on servers operated by Supabase on our behalf, so your chats are available across sessions and devices. This App does not use iCloud sync. If you delete your account (Profile → Delete Account), your messages, memory data and profile are permanently deleted from our production database. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: Account data: a unique anonymous user ID, and if you sign in with Apple or Google, your name and email address
Profile data: nickname, preferred conversation topics and communication style chosen during onboarding
Chat content: the messages you send to Elisa and the AI-generated replies
Memory data: facts you share in conversation (e.g. your name, interests, job) that the App extracts to personalize future replies
Purchase data: subscription and credit-pack purchase status (payment card details are handled by Apple and are never received by us)
Usage & device data: app usage events, crash logs and device identifiers used for analytics and push notification delivery
Device permissions: Camera — optional, used only if you choose to take a photo for Elisa to comment on.
Photo Library — optional, used only if you choose to send an existing photo for Elisa to comment on.
Notifications — optional, used for push notifications you have opted into.
AI processing: When you send a message to Elisa, that message, your recent conversation history and relevant profile/memory details are transmitted to OpenAI, L.L.C., a third-party artificial intelligence service provider, in order to generate Elisa's reply. This is the core functionality of the App and happens every time you chat. We ask for your explicit consent to this data sharing during onboarding before you can start chatting, and you can review that disclosure at any time from Settings. If you decline AI data sharing, the chat feature cannot be used.
Age requirement: Elisa Blake is intended for users aged 17 and older. The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices & rights: We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
You may decline AI data sharing at onboarding, in which case the chat feature cannot be used.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR/CCPA to access, correct or export your data — contact us at the email in Section 12.
Third-party services: OpenAI API: Generates Elisa's replies. When you send a message, that message, your recent conversation history and relevant profile/memory details are transmitted to OpenAI, L.L.C. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models; OpenAI retains API data for a limited period for abuse monitoring. Privacy Policy
Supabase: Backend database and authentication provider; stores your account, profile, chat history and memory data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Privacy Policy

Account: No account or sign-in is required to use this App.
Storage: Your trips, favorites, saved campgrounds, collections, reviews, packing lists, profile and settings are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Velnor does not operate servers that store this content. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: Trip details you enter (destination, dates, group size, activities, style preferences)
Saved campgrounds, favorites and collections you create
Reviews and ratings you write, including any photos you attach
Recent searches you perform in Explore
Packing list state and task completion
Optional location (only when permission is granted and used for nearby search)
Device permissions: Location — optional, used to find campsites near you, show accurate distances and center the map.
Camera — optional, used to add custom photos to your trips and gear.
Photo Library — optional, used to select photos when writing a campground review or saving trip photos.
Notifications — optional, used for trip countdown, packing and morning-of reminders.
AI processing: When you use Ask Vera and an AI provider key is configured, your question and the relevant trip context (trip name, dates, location, activities, style, group size and current weather) are sent to OpenAI's API. This is limited to what is necessary to answer your question. Velnor does not continuously monitor or upload your content.

Account: No account or sign-in is required to use this App.
Storage: Your properties, checklists, trusted people, check-in records, maintenance items, home system details and vault contacts are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Photos you attach are stored in the app's on-device storage. Velnor does not operate servers that store this content. This App does not use iCloud sync.
Information you may provide: Property details you enter (name, type, city and region)
Checklist state and completion history you generate
Photos you attach to check-ins, checklists or your property
Trusted-person names and roles you choose to record
Maintenance, home-system and vault notes you enter
Device permissions: Camera — optional, used to capture verification photos and property cover photos.
Photo Library — optional, used to select existing photos for covers and verification records.
Notifications — optional, used for check-in results, weather preparation, maintenance and return reminders you enable.

10. Children's privacy

Velnor Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@velnorapps.com and we will address it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where an update materially changes how a specific App handles your information, we will note it in that App's section.
